Larry Kestenbaum, summer of 1975 workshopper, is a candidate for the Michigan House of Representatives for the 52nd District (Ann Arbor area) in the August 4, 1998 Democratic primary.

News from the Reunion 98 --Morning meeting notes- common ground
CW- help bring A to fruition as a model; MBNA credit card 'affinity marketing', disability, consciousness
RP- 2 directions:
1) dissemination of info (journal/magazine)to explore the concept -
education organization;
2) build a FS arco - mobilize resources, but build arco first
RH- does it make sense to pump money into a site which isn't set up to use it
GI- practical outlet of group (on-site work)
JS- mission statement or charter, board may be too lofty a goal
JR- should we be connected with Cosanti, against arco as company town
LD- cohesive organization
MJ- bringing people together on web
RR- regional network for getting together, strong web presence
MB- use each person's talents, tap financial resources, member dues, J-Venture
BR- having fun with arcology, arcology game, arcology for peace, rebuilding war-torn and
depressed areas (yugoslavia a/o jerusalem), virtual linkages
SB- professional acceptance as a field, NSF funding, arcology to Washington as lobby,
teach the teachers (especially on the EC)
GK- special web communications, arcology outreach
RJ- education, workshoppers aren't being educated about theory
NK- outreach to alums, grow the circle, empower

-Robert Rainmaker will investigate non-profit incorporation
