* As you know, the "Urban Laboratory" is still under construction. Kindly bear with us while we make some changes to this website. Thank you.

The
Arcosanti Arcology Network is an international affiliation program in support of Arcosanti. the "Urban Laboratory" in central Arizona that is the sole project of the Cosanti Foundation, a registered (501c3) charitable organization.

If you have ever worked in any capacity at Cosanti or Arcosanti, or completed a construction workshop or a seminar week, or participated in an Arcosanti Elderhostel program, you have a place in ArcNet - and ArcNet has a place for you!.

ArcNet's mandate is to help the Cosanti Foundation develop aspects and projects of Arcosanti that successfully promote and initiate research, development, implementation, and application of Paolo Soleri's concept of arcology.

Similar to the alumni outreach arm of other educational organizations, ArcNet is not separately incorporated. Any/all receipts for tax-deductible contributions made to the project are issued on behalf of the Cosanti Foundation.

Instead of holding an AGM (Annual General Meeting) as registered non-profits normally do, ArcNet simply has an annual reunion meeting at Arcosanti between June 14 and June 21, when "Juneteenth," celebrating the Emancipation Proclomation, is heralded at Arcosanti by a Jazz Festival organized by the Prescott Jazz Society. June 21, Solstice/Father's Day, happens to be Paolo's birthday.

The reunion meeting is an opportunity to get together, to discuss business, plan projects, enjoy music, good food, and good company. This year, 2005, Paolo Soleri will turn 86, and although he has not indicated he's overly excited about this fact, it does seem like a great excuse for a party, doesn't it?

Come celebrate, please:
June 14-21 2005 @ Arcosanti for the ArcologyNetwork plash!!
